Primary Objective of the Job:
We're seeking a Regional Compliance Leader to support the day-to-day management of our compliance function. The role involves assisting in the creation, implementation, and enablement of policies, procedures, and controls to prevent, detect, and respond to ethics and compliance risks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing an effective compliance program under the supervision of the Chief Compliance & Cybersecurity Officer (CCCO)
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and help mitigate ethics and compliance risks
- Assist in reviewing, updating, creating, and implementing relevant policies and procedures
- Provide support in training and communications to raise awareness about applicable regulatory requirements and ethical standards
- Collaborate with business on corrective actions resulting from audits, risk assessments, or raised concerns
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to senior executives and stakeholders on compliance matters
- Monitor and interpret legislation, guidance, and industry standards applicable to the company
- Help facilitate a culture where employees feel empowered to raise ethics and compliance concerns
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree (postgraduate degree or law degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in law, compliance, internal audit, or governance
