Job Title
Marketing Executive
Primary objective of the job:
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for executing marketing programs and campaigns in Cayman and will ensure local marketing policies are aligned with Group standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Create annual/quarterly marketing plans and calendars
- Set marketing goals, KPIs and successful metrics
- Prepare, manage and allocate marketing budgets
- Monitor budget utilization and ROI of marketing campaigns
- Coordinate with finance for forecasting and spend reporting
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market trend analysis and customer behavior studies
- Segment target markets and identify buyer personas
- Gather competitive intelligence
- Run customer satisfaction and feedback surveys
- Analyze campaign data to inform future marketing efforts
Reporting & Performance Measurement
- Create monthly/quarterly marketing performance reports
- Report on ROI for individual campaigns and channels
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product and customer support teams
- Align marketing goals with sales targets and lead generation
- Gather insights from customer-facing teams to refine messaging
- Support business development initiatives with marketing assets
Branding & Positioning
- Maintain and develop consistent brand messaging and identity
- Oversee creation and approval of brand assets (logos, guidelines, templates)
- Manage rebranding initiatives when needed
- Ensure consistency across all internal and external communication
- Conduct competitor brand analysis and benchmarking
Campaign & Content Management
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events)
- Develop and manage content calendar (blogs, newsletters, social media)
- Manage website content and SEO optimization
- Oversee PPC, email marketing, and automation efforts
- Track campaign performance and optimize for better outcomes
Public Relations & Communications
- Draft press releases and manage media relations in accordance with Digicel Group Policy
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Design loyalty and referral programs
- Develop targeted campaigns for customer retention
- Handle marketing aspects of affiliate or channel partnerships
Product Marketing
- Create product messaging, positioning, and value propositions
- Coordinate product launch campaigns
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- B.Sc. in Marketing or a related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in marketing planning with evidence of delivering effective marketing strategies and programs
Functional Skills:
- Excellent written and communications skills across the range of executions from press releases, advertorials, speeches and by-lined articles to case studies and white papers
- Excellent grasp - and proven experience, of planning and running consumer - business to business and corporate communications campaigns
- Experience of Social Media campaigns and in-depth knowledge of current Social Media trends
- Creativity and willingness to work on your own initiative in an ever changing environment
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet challenging deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Can do attitude and upbeat, positive and dynamic personality
- Good administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
