Job Title
Regional BI Manager - Atlantic
Primary objective of the job:
The Regional BI Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the business intelligence (BI) and analytics ecosystem across all Atlantic markets. This role provides the analytical foundation for commercial decision-making, delivering insights that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, customer experience improvement, and strategic planning for the B2C organization.
The Regional BI Manager will ensure consistent, data-driven governance by integrating local market data into regional dashboards, models, and reports—enabling the Regional Head of B2C and senior leadership to make timely, informed, and actionable decisions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Governance
- Develop and maintain a unified BI and analytics framework for the Atlantic Region, ensuring consistency in data definitions, methodologies, and KPIs across all markets.
- Lead the integration of multiple data sources (sales, finance, network, customer experience, digital) into consolidated regional dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to Group Data Governance and Data Protection standards.
- Partner with Group BI and Technology teams to align architecture, tools, and reporting standards.
Performance Reporting & Insights
- Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports tracking key regional KPIs such as service revenue, churn, ARPU, CLV, activations, and channel productivity.
- Deliver regular performance insights and variance analyses for the Regional Head of B2C and cross-functional leaders.
- Support strategic reviews and forecasting processes by translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in all reporting outputs.
Forecasting, Modelling & Advanced Analytics
- Design and maintain predictive models that support forecasting, churn prevention, customer segmentation, and campaign effectiveness analysis.
- Leverage advanced analytical tools (Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or equivalent) to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing, Go-To-Market, and CX teams to measure ROI and optimize regional campaigns and initiatives.
- Support strategic projects such as price elasticity studies, portfolio analysis, and profitability modelling.
Regional Collaboration & Support
- Act as the central BI partner for the Regional Head of B2C and all functional leads.
- Provide ad-hoc data support and insights for commercial, product, and operational initiatives.
- Guide local markets in improving their BI maturity—enhancing local reporting capabilities and analytical autonomy.
- Organize quarterly BI knowledge-sharing sessions across markets to promote best practices and alignment.
Team Development & Leadership
- Coach and mentor regional and local analysts to strengthen analytical thinking and storytelling skills.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, precision, and data integrity.
- Drive collaboration between markets, ensuring analytical methodologies are shared and standardized.
- Present regular updates to senior management, highlighting performance trends, opportunities, and risk mitigation actions.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making by fostering analytical rigor across regional and local teams.
- Safeguard customer information and adhere strictly to Data Protection Guidelines.
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Analytics/Data Science) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or commercial reporting, preferably within telecommunications, digital, or technology industries.
- Proven experience building and automating dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong command of SQL and data modeling; experience with Python or R is an advantage.
- Track record of translating analytical insights into strategic business actions.
- Experience working in multi-market or regional environments.
Functional Skills:
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management across commercial, finance, and technology functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
