Primary objectives of the job:

To execute outbound calls (as per assigned script) in order to:

 

  • Introduce new products/promotional offers in order to upsell/retain SMB customers 
  • Contact all customer leads assigned to them by assigned Desk Based Business Account Manager and Business Solutions Operations team 
  • Achievement of sales target as agreed by Head of Business Sales
  • Ensure to communicate all queries to their assigned Desk Based Account Manager to follow through  

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure accurate and timely provisioning, maintenance, and updates of Tier 3 clients. 
  • Provide sales support for Tier 3 clients. 
  • Contact customers to discuss/clarify requests for services and manage email requests by processing. 
  • Liaise with Service Managers and Account Managers to validate, assess, and analyze service requests and where necessary make amendments to service requests. 
  • Acknowledge receipt of orders by way of returning call or email to customer/Account Manager. 
  • Introduce new products/promotional offers in order to upsell/retain Tier 3 clients. 
  • Contact all customer leads assigned by Business Solutions. 
  • Initiate requests for contract renewals (ICT and GSM) for Tier 3 clients. 
  • Achieve sales targets as agreed by the Head of Business Sales. 
  • Qualifying all assigned sales leads to upsell and provides the best solutions and services to meet customer needs.
  • Update Salesforce.com with activities including logging of meetings, opportunities and follow all established processes

Academic qualifications and experience required for job: (Minimum)

  • Five (5) CXC or GCE Subjects (inclusive of English and Mathematics or an equivalent numeric qualification).
  • At least six (6) months’ working experience in a Customer Service Environment. 
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, PowerPoint, Office Outlook, and Excel

Specialized knowledge, skills and training Required: (Minimum)

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Good customer service skills

  o Good analytical skills

  • Effective time management Skills
