Primary objective of the job:
The Tele sales Agent is responsible for contacting prospective and existing customers by telephone to promote and sell the company's products and services. The role involves generating sales, identifying customer needs, providing product information, maintaining customer records, and delivering excellent customer service while achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact prospective and existing customers through outbound and in-bound calls.
- Promote and sell company products and services in accordance with established sales objectives.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, services, or solutions.
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, promotions, and terms and conditions.
- Follow up on leads and customers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Accurately process customer applications, orders, and service requests.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets, conversion rates, and productivity goals.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in sales training, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
- Provide feedback on customer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Minimum of 5 CXC/CSEC, including Mathematics and English Language
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in telesales, sales, customer service, or a contact center environment preferred.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools is an advantage
- Computer literacy, specifically in the Microsoft Office Suite
