JOB TITLE:
Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst – South West Indies (SWI) Markets
Primary Objective of the Job:
The BI Analyst plays a critical role in supporting commercial performance across the SWI markets by providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive decision-making.
The position focuses on data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting related to sales performance, customer behavior, product uptake, and revenue optimization for both GSM and Digicel+ portfolios.
Working closely with the Regional Head of Consumer, the BI Analyst ensures commercial and operational data integrity, develops dashboards, and identifies trends to improve subscriber growth, ARPU, and revenue outcomes.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Data Management & Reporting
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple platforms (TCRM, ARIA, BI Dashboards, PowerBI, etc.) ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Develop and automate standardized reports and dashboards for Sales, Revenue, ARPU, and Customer Movements.
- Maintain a centralized repository of key performance metrics for GSM and FTTH products.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are delivered to the appropriate stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams).
- Support the Regional Consumer Team in preparing management performance decks, market reviews, and ad hoc reports.
Analytics & Business Insight
- Analyze commercial KPIs to identify growth opportunities, emerging risks, and areas requiring intervention.
- Provide deep-dive analysis into subscriber acquisition, churn, usage, and retention trends across markets.
- Support in designing and evaluating pricing models, promotions, and campaign performance to ensure commercial effectiveness and ROI.
- Conduct variance and correlation analysis on budget vs. actual performance by product, market, and channel.
- Use data modeling and visualization tools (PowerBI, SQL, Python) to generate actionable insights for senior management.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Collaborate with market teams to ensure alignment between data outputs and commercial objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting exercises by providing data-driven insights.
- Support post-launch reviews for major promotions and campaigns, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for optimization.
- Assist in ensuring data integrity and governance standards are maintained across all reporting systems.
- Contribute to the development of regional BI frameworks and best practices in line with Group BI guidelines.
Academic Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or commercial performance reporting—preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven experience in Power BI and SQL (essential).
- Experience with Python or other analytics tools (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Prior exposure to sales, pricing, or revenue management analysis would be an advantage.
