Primary objective of the job:

Drive Digicel’s Digital services through the development and implementation of commercial and marketing strategies to provide customers with a best in class digital experience. This individual will be tasked with working with all key cross-functional stakeholders across the business to build awareness, increase market penetration, usage and installs across all 32 Digital markets.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital service marketing strategy and activation plans to align with overarching commercial direction
  • Work with Group Digital products and engagement managers on application roadmaps and rollout plans (features and developments) to execute marketing campaigns. Ensure deep understanding of the apps as a commercial user and keep up to date with feature benefits
  • Development of 360 Digital Service campaigns that center around the app and fully leverage all marketing channels
  • Ensure optimum delivery of assets and marketing strategy playbook to all Digicel markets across Caribbean, Central America & South Pacific
  • Work with local marketing teams to effectively localize central marketing strategy and campaigns, ensuring execution excellence
  • Manage annual Digital Service marketing budget and ensure we are effectively utilizing funds
  • Develop engaging and effective relations with the local marketing teams to ensure there is group and market alignment
  • Consistent monitoring and reporting on campaign and digital service performance (usage, installs, all other KPIs)
  • Ensure optimum delivery of assets and marketing strategy playbook to all Digicel markets across Caribbean, Central America & South Pacific



Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • BSc/BA in Business, Marketing, or any other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in marketing planning with evidence of delivering marketing strategies and programmes across complex global/regional marketing organizations



Functional Skills:

  • Understanding of telecom industry
  • Understanding of working with digital applications and/or products
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
