Digicel Business Telesales Agent 

 

Job Responsibilty:

Maximize sales, revenue and subscriber growth opportunities through strategic outbound calling- by signing up new customers and upselling existing with mobile and ICT services.

 

Main Duties & Requirements:

  • Effectively position the value of ICT and mobile products and services to prospective customers, encouraging service adoption.
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services for existing customers to enhance their overall business experience.
  • Re-engage churned customers through targeted offers and strategic outreach.
  • Identify client needs and provide tailored recommendations to meet those needs.
  • Anticipate future customer requirements and proactively address unspoken needs.
  • Support service processes including installations, reconnections, service changes, troubleshooting, and special request orders.
  • Schedule and follow up on customer orders and service requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Consistently work towards achieving assigned sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Represent Digicel Business professionally, maintaining a strong brand presence in all customer interactions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving basic issues, and guiding customers on product usage.
  • Present monthly performance updates to Sales vertical leads.
  • Actively build and manage a sales pipeline to support monthly targets.
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as periodically assigned by the Manager.

 

Academic Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 CXC passes (Mathematics and English included).
  • Additional sales training or certifications is an advantage.
  • Experience in direct sales, retail sales, or field marketing is preferred but not required.

 

Skills/Compentencies Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive approach.
  • Sales-driven with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of telecom products and services, and applications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to handle rejection positively.
  • Strong ability to connect with diverse customers and build relationships.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
