The primary objective of the job:

The BusIness Intelligence Manager will primarily be responsible for delivering and developing in-App and back-end data sources, coded events and records that will lead to reporting, and  insights for the Digital team. He/She will do this by using leading the software development data collection requirements from SDK to Final report of each of our apps and features in collaboration of cross functional teams in development, DWH and Business managers. This deep knowloge of the apps will help him/her to to create automated reporting, work on 3rd party projects and insights to help drive the digital strategy.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Analytics

  • Must have experience in Big Query and Google Analytics
  • Use analytical techniques (visual, logical, statistical) to generate insights on the digital products and their performance
  • Connect data insights to business problems and implications and present those findings to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior business managers
  • Undertake statistical analysis  to determine promotional campaign effectiveness & product feature usage.
  • Provide input and recommendations on customer experience, customer engagement and KPIs for app and website performance.
  • Work in conjunction with vendors and the suppliers of the products to ensure analytics are properly set up including events and payloads.
  • Develop proprietary data sets to support analysis, e.g., by integrating data from 3rd party APIs with internal data sources

 

Reporting

  • Design and build insightful dashboards that enable business owners to monitor KPIs and initiatives
  • Transform raw data into visually appealing and actionable insights to support decision making
  • Report on key metrics, analyze and interpret trends and proactively prvide actionable insights based on data from internal and 3rd party data sources
  • Present recommendations on potential product modifications based on data analytics.
  • Gather requirements and set up reporting dashboards and presentations for key stakeholders based on set business requirements
  • Design optimal solutions for data collection using industry best practices and organization governance philosophies
  • Set up new Google Analytics/Firebase properties, audiences, etc. including custom filters, views, and segments for easy reporting

 

Educate

  • Support the Management team for any question related to the digital analytics tool
  • Share analytical skills across the team to improve data fluency and problem solving
  • Participate in process improvement to ensure analytics are a part of dev cycles and business delivery

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics (or equivalent professional qualification (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, statistics, and data modeling as well as proficiency in managing large datasets design of schema and connections.
  • Technical knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytics GA4/360, Data Studio and Facebook Analytics
  • Advanced experience setting up custom events/Definitions and goals within Google Analytics and Firebase

 

 

Knowledge and Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency working with large raw data sets in a variety of formats
  • Able to integrate 3rd party APIs and maintaining the integrity of marketing data through the delivery of validated and accurate reporting.
  • Curious and persistent in investigating and unearthing insights across multiple data sources
  • Detail-oriented to ensure data and insights are accurate, replicable, and fit fordecision making
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience
  • Good time management and able to prioritize and lead effectively
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (incl. advanced analysis tools in Excel)
  • Working knowledge of using Tableau, Power BI or other 3rd party data visualization tools
