Key Purpose of the Role:

 

  • Develop governance for new changes on the core platforms
  • Work with internal and external stake holders
  • Manage cross functional teams and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Run and Manage prioritization meetings for product changes, pricing and configurations
  • Work with the suppliers in developing SLA and TAT’s for change requests/configurations on the platform
  • Engage with internal teams for developing performance dashboards.
  • Work with project teams for resource allocation for projects
  • Act as a bridge between business and tech teams

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage business operations through the suppliers
  • Leading configuration board and running a prioritization forum with business stakeholders for configurational changes
  • End to end responsibility of taking business configurations changes live as per the business roadmap
  • Development of change management governance process and ensuring it is being followed
  • Ensure strong and positive collaboration between the stakeholders including business, products and Operations etc.
  • Innovation of platforms ensuring business excellence and time to market
  • Responsible for creating a positive working environment in the team with highly motivated and engaged employees
  • Build and manage a high performing team with needed psychological safety for the team to succeed
  • Work closely with other teams and partners to identify business roadmap is delivered
  • Quarterly and Monthly changes stats to management of each platform
  • Team development plan including trainings for the team
  • Development of change management governance process and ensuring it is followed
  • Understand the requirements from the stakeholders and evaluate whether or not do-able in terms of platform capabilities.
  • Work with teams to conduct end to end UAT cycles and get signoffs
  • Supplement the product go-to-market plans ensuring a timely delivery of projects in collaboration with other departments
  • Manage diverse set of stake holders and lead cross functional teams responsible for end-to-end product deliveries
  • Engage with tech teams in identifying activities and subtasks and ensuring that the projects are delivered on time.
  • Engage in collecting items for project forums and keeping a track of product back logs
  • Work with project teams to manage end to end project delivery and develop project baseline reports
  • Closely follow up with project teams for project baselines and raise alarms whenever the project is getting delayed or overshooting costs
  • Ensure optimal use of resources, prepare and present resource usage reports
  • Understand the overall strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

 

Principal Working Relationships:

 

Customers:     

External - All customers through provision of customer facing products & Systems

Internal - All business units, deliver products to achieve the business plan.

 

Suppliers:       

Internal – All business units

External - Software Development, Database/Warehousing QA outsourced partners.

 

Person Specification:

 

Qualifications

 

  • Degree Level Education in Science, Engineering or similar technical field.
  • Role will have to deal with potential ambiguity, changes, and managing sometimes conflicting inputs. Therefore, assuming problem solving leadership and cutting through ambiguity is a must, as well as strong people and communication
  • Results driven, independent thinker with skills in configurations and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain complicated topics in an accessible manner to management and stakeholders
  • Motivated to work in an innovative and collaborative environment encouraging rapid testing and experimentation
  • Ability to manage teams

 

Background Experience

Ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Having 5+ years of hands-on running business ops in large scale fintech organizations
  • Expertise in setting up governance structure.
  • Excellent communication and people interaction skills
  • Strong experience on Agile Development & DevOps practices
  • Good experience with Testing Automation
  • Experience in setting up Project management units at large scale financial services organizations
  • Strong concepts related to Project and Program Management.
  • Financial system Knowledge
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
