Change & Communication Manager


Primary objective of the job: 

Role supports readiness for Powered Finance go-live by helping prepare impacted populations to operate new processes & technologies. Enablement is through comms / training / other engagement activities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • From the baseline Change Impact Assessments (CIAs) works with functional leads to reflect any late changes to solution design within these documents

  • Maintains existing ‘communications plan’ detailing all impacted communities vs. planned engagement to support readiness for go-live. Engagement (comms / events / training etc.) based upon CIA above

  • Drives delivery of the ‘communication plan’ working with Powered project team members to prepare relevant content for each event

  • Establishes mechanisms (feedback etc.) for monitoring the success of project communications and takes action against plans based on this feedback loop

  • Works with Group Comms team to ensure that Powered messaging fits within Digicel wide Comms frameworks. This includes managing approval by Group Comms of any ‘material’ comms (definition of material to be agreed with Group Comms)

  • Work with the training lead to ensure that planned training fits within a consistent engagement plan for each community

  • Engages with the expert user community to get input into & feedback on planned comms activity

  • As required provides support in managing team members including monitoring and advising on team performance and providing support to the project leadership to resolve problems

  • Supports programme leadership team in management of Senior Stakeholders (e.g. preparation of materials etc.)

  • Works with cutover teams to ensure Comms activity (e.g. business data freeze / reactive comms to any post go-live defects) are in place ready for go-live

  • Supports assessment of readiness for deployment with respect to Comms / engagement and inputs into the go / no-go decision

  • Post go-live supports problem management team in communicating status of stabilization issues


Academic qualifications and experience required:

  • 5+ years of experience in Change Management and Communication on large technology enabled functional transformation 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration or other relevant
  • Change Management experience
  • Ownership & delivery of Comms activity in a large multi-national business
