Device Collection and Asset Recovery

The Device Collection Bearer is a field-based role responsible for the timely collection of customer-premises equipment (CPE) from residential customer locations. The bearer serves as the primary point of contact between the organisation and its customers during the device recovery process, ensuring a professional, courteous, and efficient experience at every interaction.

The role requires daily scheduling confirmation with customers, site visits, physical collection of devices, accurate job status reporting, and the secure delivery of all recovered equipment to the designated warehouse facility. Devices handled include Modems, Set Top Boxes (STBs), Wi-Fi Extender units, Remote Controls, and Power Supply Adapters.

The Device Collection Bearer plays a vital role in supporting the company's asset recovery programme, reducing equipment loss, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the device refurbishment and redeployment cycle.
