Primary objective of the job: 

  • The objective of the role is to address training needs, design and deliver training programs to new and existing employees, and evaluate its effectiveness in line with company goals
  • Create training plans, develop instructional materials, and ensure employees' growth aligns with company goals

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Profile:

 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department managers to identify training needs and develop relevant content for staff/teams
  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive, and effective training sessions using various formats, including classroom and virtual, while ensuring they align with company goals and objectives of the Sales Academy/CoE
  • Participate in the launch of new product releases and design training materials to train staff
  • Keep abreast of all product and technical areas within the business to stay in tune with changes
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for employees across various channels, focused on improving sales skills and overall job performance
  • Review and design supporting documents/materials and maintain the central training library
  • Utilize existing playbook and recommend updates based on business needs
  • To keep abreast of trends and market changes and ensure that all training material and content is up to date with industry best practices
  • To ensure Training content is updated on a regular basis, including the capture of changes and new implementations and ensure all D+ Markets are working with the correct versions (this should include updates to Training Facilitator Guides)
  • To liaise with department Sales Leads to ensure that all resources are intact to facilitate each training session
  • To provide feedback to the Sales Performance Manager on any area in need of improvement and/or opportunities for training
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure proper on-boarding and integration of new hires, conducting training sessions, and providing support as needed
  • To produce other training related materials and presentations as needed for the CoE Sales Academy
  • Travel within the Caribbean region to deliver training programs and support regional teams
  • Any other duties assigned by the line manager

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Associate Degree or College Diploma in Training/Education from an accredited institution or any equivalent qualification
  • Minimum requirement of advanced computer skills
  • Over 5 years proven work experience in a similar role in BPO or Telecommunications industry, with demonstrated success
  • Over 3 years previous experience in a BPO sales environment
  • Excellent oratorical delivery and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of technology associated with training e.g. Projectors, Monitors, Tablets, and Conference Systems etc
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
