Job Profile: Digital Account Manager

 

 

 

Primary Objectives of the Job:

  • Drive revenue growth in Jamaica by selling Digicel Business Digital Media and Customer Engagement solutions, including Google and Programmatic Advertising, Social Media Advertising, Creative Services, and Omni-Channel Messaging
  • The role is responsible for acquiring new business, expanding existing accounts, and positioning Digicel Business as a strategic digital partner. 

 

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Revenue & Growth

  • Deliver assigned monthly and annual digital revenue targets.
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business across priority sectors.
  • Grow existing accounts through structured account planning and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Maintain strong pipeline coverage to achieve targets.

 

Consultative Selling & Account Leadership

  • Lead client discovery sessions and develop tailored digital advertising and customer engagement solutions.
  • Present clear, outcome-driven proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, managing renewals and expansion opportunities.

 

Execution & Performance Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance and lead optimization and review discussions with clients.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to protect long-term relationships.

Forecasting & Market Development

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Provide weekly forecasts and monthly performance updates.
  • Build senior-level relationships and represent Trend Media at key industry engagements.
  • Contribute market insights to support product and solution development.

 

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

  • Minimum of a First (1st) degree in Business, Marketing or Science (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in sales and advertising
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to details and results driven.
  • Requires good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with a variety of software packages, which include but are not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Proficiency in Power point and excel is key.
  • Experience in and with digital media sales and /or digital TV would be considered an asset.
