Primary objective of the job: 

 

Manage the activation of the agreed digital media campaigns to meet/exceed digital media objectives. This role is weighted towards activating of paid Social Media campaigns, but is not exclusively.  This role will collaborate with both the Activation team & Planners to deliver digital media campaigns.

This includes but is not limited to campaign set up & QA, budget management, campaign optimisations, performance analysis, identify new opportunities, Communications with key stakeholders. 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • End to End ownership of campaigns on prescribed platforms (Social – Facebook), ensuring the performance is meeting/exceeding campaign objectives. This includes but is not limited to ; campaign reporting, campaign insight, budget management, campaign set up, QA process)
  • Work with all members of the Activation team to support them on any challenges / issues they may be encountering
  • Support in the development of media plans, informed by either historical performance analysis or working with our media partners
  • Proactive analysis of campaign performance, so to establish campaign improvements/learnings which can be applied to current or future campaigns
  • Be fully up to date on activity being run across campaigns in order to act successfully as a key daily point of contact
  • Input into team processes & best practice, and adoption of prescribed process
  • Monitor campaign delivery with great attention to detail ensuring KPIs are met/exceeded
  • Ownership & proactive communications with key internal stakeholders (Strategy & planning) and MKts/BUs
  • Liaise with media partners so to ensure campaigns are optimized to maximize performance and sales and best practice is evolving with the industry

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • 2 years experience in paid media buying (such as display, video, social, and mobile). 
  • Having strong knowledge across multiple channels is beneficial
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge in Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Experience in using MS Office Suite, particularly using Microsoft Excel to a proficient level
  • Demonstrate analytical abilities.  This role requires critical analysis of the campaigns data, so to identify and isolate performance trends.
  • Experience in turning, propose and deploying recommendations as a result of this critical analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships externally and with team members across the organization
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges under tight timelines

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Experience & knowledge of media buying platforms – Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads
  • Experience of analytical platforms, such as Google Analytics, App Analytics
  • Self-development: as part of this role, a proficient knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager Ads is key, as well as developing practical knowledge on other ads platforms
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced and a multiple work streamed environment
  • Superb attention to detail
