Primary objective of the job:
Support the Activation lead on the activation of digital media campaigns. Aligned to the Activation Lead, this Role will lead the activation of Paid Social and Google Ads campaigns (inc. META, TWITTER, GDN) ensuring campaigns are maximising effectiveness and meeting/exceeding targets. This will include but not limited to defining best practice, QA process, budget pacing, performance analysis, troubleshooting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Activation Lead in meeting or exceeding the digital media objectives & targets for different mkts/BUs on the Paid Social and Google Ads platforms
- Work with both media & technology partners to identify opportunities to improve the activation team process’ and/or media best practices (especially META)
- Proactive & collaborative communication with Mkts/BUs on media performance & campaign status
- Proactive & collaborative communication with Strategy/Planning on media performance & campaign status
- The industry is in a constant state of evolution, ensure that you are developing you knowledge & Skills in line with your development plan
- Manage & develop junior members of the team
- End to End ownership of campaigns on prescribed platforms (Paid Social), ensuring the performance is meeting/exceeding campaign objectives. This includes but is not limited to ; campaign reporting, campaign insight, budget management, campaign set up, QA process)
- Work with all members of the Activation team to support them on any challenges / issues they may be encountering
- Support in the development on media plans, informed by either historical performance analysis or working with our media partners
- Proactive analysis of campaign performance, so to establish campaign improvements/learnings which can be applied to current or future campaigns
- Be fully up to date on activity being run across campaigns in order to act successfully as a key daily point of contact
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in paid media buying (such as display, video, social, and mobile). Having strong knowledge across multiple channels is preferential
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge in META, Google Ads
- Experience in using MS Office Suite, particularly using Microsoft Excel to a proficient level
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges under tight timelines
Functional Skills:
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges under tight timelines
- Experience & proficient knowledge of analytical platforms, such as Google Analytics
- Active knowledge in developments in digital media buying technologies & trends
- Management is a function of this role, so must demonstrate the ability to manage & develop team members
- Self-development: as part of this role, a proficient knowledge of Paid Social is key, therefore it is imperative to keep advancing this specialist knowledge
