- The primary function of the Engineer is to support and streamline field operation standards to ensure operational efficiency to achieve the KPI targets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct site/power audits to verify integrity of power systems at sites
- Assess onsite equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper maintenance standards
- Interrogate network nodes to investigate and resolve faults affecting site availability to prevent recurrence
- Engage with contractors, internal and external customers for project execution and field activities.
- Prepare and present technical reports and proposals.
- Update and maintain relevant databases
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
- Strong analytical skills
- Background in Telecoms or related area
Functional Skills:
- An agile approach to problem-solving
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outside of set working hours depending on network demands
