Primary objectives of the job:

 

At Digicel we are undertaking a new Global Transformation Program led through a series of initiatives in which we will provide an enhanced service and experience to our customers, become a true digital company inside and out and develop our people with new capabilities. The Finance Transformation Office is a high performance team operating and providing support across the Digicel Group. 

 

Reporting to the Finance Managers in the Transformation Office, the Finance Analyst will deliver robust and detailed strategic reporting and analysis for the Transformation Office CFO on a bi-weekly basis. Reporting will include: key project performance indicators and project milestones across all business units, consolidated financial statements for the program at market, function and company level as well as other ad-hoc reporting requirements

 

The role is a high visibility role providing high quality business partnering to Senior financial leadership throughout the Group and through good understanding of the systems and functional processes play a key role in driving the Global Transformation Program.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the consolidation of financial and non-financial KPIs, metrics, reports and other inputs from the business and ensure relevant analysis is undertaken and relevant insights identified
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business to assist in facilitating data collection and analysis
  • Develop and provide right metrics to measure process efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Generate and interpret detailed statistical and financial reports to assist in critical business decisions
  • Work alongside management to continuously seek to improve the accuracy of the reported figures
  • Understand, track, and help drive global transformation initiatives
  • Review market inputs and the reasons for movements/variances, questioning and providing a skeptical outlook.
  • Use professional judgment to determine real risks and threats to the project initiatives and milestones, and communicate to key stakeholders where necessary
  • Provide detailed data analysis on key project performance indicators and project milestones across all business units

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounts, Economics, Banking Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years management accounting and/or reporting experience
  • ACCA certification is preferred
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate progress, issues and recommendations in a concise manner
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail, high standards of accuracy and consistency in data, and efficient identification and resolution of issues
  • Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate high energy, a strong work ethic, flexibility, a relentless customer-focus and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Previous Program Transformation or Business Partner experience preferred
  • Highly Advanced Excel Modelling, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Advanced use of financial systems (e.g. Oracle, Workday, SAP)
  • Previous experience using the Wave application a plus
