Finance Cutover Analyst

 

 

Primary objective of the job: 

 

The person hired for the position of Cutover Analyst will play a key role on the Digicel Workday – Powered Finance  cutover team, which drives both Technical & functional cutover for Workday  deployments. The cutover analyst will work to develop the project Wave 2 Cutover plan, particularly in the area of S2P, Q2C, A2R and will be integrally involved in the plan execution for Mock activities, Dress Rehearsal, and Production cutover.

The post holder should be familiar with data migration and its overall importance within an integrated cutover plan as well as data validation and technical go live process within the overall scope of a waved focused set of deployments.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Process-specific role responsible for, with a specific focus on Cutover:

  • Partner with business function area to document ramp down and ramp up activities
  • Partner with Finance system team to understand and document the close out of the legacy systems.
  • Partner with Integrations team to understand and document when integrations are needed as part of the cutover process and any associated reconciliations required before they can be switched on (this has a billing system focus)
  • Work with market finance teams in documenting and planning cutover around MEC process.
  • Work with cutover manager and SSC to drive process areas within the hyper care periods.
  • Adhoc cutover related reporting and tasks as directed by the cutover manager

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

 

  • Bachelor degree
  • Knowledge of Finance processes, MEC and the relationship with key functional areas like procurements and Asset management etc.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS products, such as Excel and Word
  • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees and suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of ERP project rollouts across multiple markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills"

 

Process specific required role knowledge and background :

  • Knowledge of the main areas of focus in cutover development
  • Played cutover analyst role on previous ERP rollouts
  • 3+ years of working on ERP projects
  • Worked on at least one other ERP project that had a large finance component.
  • Ability to lead business workshops around cutover for functional areas.

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Monitors processes and manages continuous improvement initiatives across the cutover and DM  team to help realize greater efficiencies
  • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees and clients in a professional manner
  • Highly qualified team with specialized skills and knowledge

  • Specialized skills and deep domain knowledge
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines and produce high quality work in a fastpaced environment.
