Primary objective of the job:
The GNOC Engineer supports the delivery of NOC services to the customers of the Global Network Operations Center. The GNOC Engineer ensures that established processes are executed through review, oversight and reporting of results against established KPIs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor adherence to the process by the respective GNOC sections
- Monitor SLAs and KPIs for breaches and inefficiencies
- Analyze GNOC performance against established SLAs and KPIs
- Review breaches and provide recommendation for improvement
- Prepares reports for the Market governance meetings
- Engage Market Operations to review GNOC performance
- Follow up with market on open actions
- Review and enhance processes
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/IT Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- More than 1 year experience in telecom industry or Network Operation environment
- Working Knowledge of ITIL Framework
