Primary objective of the job:
Digicel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Government Vertical Sales Lead to drive complex solutions sales across 25 markets in the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and consultative sales approach, working collaboratively with local market General Managers and sales teams to deliver transformative solutions for government clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the government vertical, targeting 25 markets across the Caribbean.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging a consultative sales approach to address the unique challenges of government clients.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process for complex solutions, including needs analysis, solution design, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Consult with government clients to identify their requirements and recommend tailored solutions, including connectivity, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with internal technical and product teams to develop customized proposals and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior technology sales role, preferably within the government sector
- Proven track record of successfully selling complex technology solutions, such as connectivity, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and decision-making structures

- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
