Primary objective of the job:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing creative support for Trend Media and the Digicel Group, including but not limited to; Loop News, Digicel Business, Digicel Foundation, NewCom and GameNation through a variety of channels; digital, web, video, print and others as assigned. The Graphic Designer will report to the Group Head of Creative and assist with developing and designing 2D motion graphics, branding, animations, games, and marketing/sales collateral across all markets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ideate and create compelling digital design solutions for internal and external clientele
Collaborate with executives and employees across the group on creative projects and campaigns
Uphold the organizations standards, processes, and protocols
Stay on top of current global trends
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Conceptualize visuals and digital solutions based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final designs
Test graphics across various media
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
Proven experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Proficient in video editing and motion design
Minimum 6 years of experience in graphic and motion design
Portfolio required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Functional Skills:
Excellent computer knowledge of both MAC and PC environments
Team Player
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
Organized, dependable and detail-oriented
Able to work well under pressure
Quick Learner and Efficient
Strong time management skills
