Primary objective of the job: 

 

The Revenue Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities to improve and develop strategies to optimize internal Revenue drivers and reporting. The Revenue Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data across several areas of the business to identify trends, generate forecasts, identify risks, improve operational efficiency, and help inform decisions to improve revenue performance across Digicel Business markets. 
This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration with various teams to drive successful outcomes; the successful candidate will work closely with various teams to gather data, perform deep dive analysis, and create reports that guide decision-making and track performance against key business objectives. 

This opportunity is also open to candidates who are residents of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • The candidate should monitor key sales performance indicators that directly or indirectly impact revenue, using analytics to deep dive into the trends to determine the cause for the change, and to recommend and develop remedial actionable i plans to mitigate revenue decline or to drive sales / product penetration or growth. 

 

  • Support with the development and implementation of strategies to optimize pricing, discounting and promotional activities. Analyze applicable costs to determine the price point that drives profitability for ICT and Postpaid Mobile products. 

 

  • Assist with the design and implementation of revenue processes and systems, including lead scoring, and sales forecasting

 

  • Identify areas of risk in the business that could impact revenue performance, such as customer churn or changes in market conditions
  • Support in the development of a deep understanding of drivers by cohort and provide insight on which product/features are most effective in increasing customer retention and engagement based on actual revenue

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, sales and product managers, and communicate insights and recommendations to them in a clear and concise manner

 

  • Act as a subject matter expert on revenue operations, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Management / Economics or Computer Science or a related field required.
  • A master’s degree will be an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Revenue Operations Analyst, Commercial Analyst within the telecommunications sector
  • An acceptable combination of academic qualifications and work experience may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.

 

 

Functional Skills:

 

  • Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power Platform/Power BI 
  • Computer Literate in a Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data and analytics to improve performance
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, CRM (preferably Salesforce),
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
