Job Summary:

 

We're seeking an experienced Group IT Manager to lead our IT infrastructure and operations across multiple companies, including Prism Loyalty, Paymaster, and Prism Holdings Datacentres. The successful candidate will oversee IT staff, manage budgets, and ensure the smooth operation of our technology systems.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage IT staff, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring
  • Oversee the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Select and purchase new and replacement hardware and software
  • Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems
  • Generate performance reports for operating systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and regulations
  • Evaluate technology risks and maintain disaster recovery plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements
  • Create, update, and edit IT policies
  • Manage DR activities and cloud environments
  • Oversee IP telephony systems, including VoIP infrastructure and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including PCI standards and SOC 2 Type II reporting

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Proven track record of managing IT staff and budgets

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with cloud environments, IT infrastructure, and operations
