Primary Objective of the job:

  • To provide support to the Recruitment Manager and Recruitment team with the effective execution of the day-to-day Recruitment activities associated with On-Boarding, University Relations and Recruitment


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


Recruitment and Selection:

  • Downloading resumes and collaborating with the HR Executives/hiring managers on short-listed candidates before scheduling interviews
  • Ensuring that documents are prepared for interview panel, prior to the interview date/time (i.e. resumes, evaluation sheets etc)



  • Ensuring completion and approval of all on-boarding forms and access request prior to start date of the new employee.
  • Preparing contracts for new bulk hires
  • Providing the HR Operations team with new employee documentation(file) for enrollment in the group health, life and pension plans as well as enrollment in the lunch facility and any other eligible benefits
  • Prepare new employee package, arrange welcome bag & arrange buddy system
  • Provide support to coordinate and facilitate Digicel’s first-day orientation to ensure that it is effectively executed within specified timelines: conduct introductions/tour, provide new employee package, and arrange welcome gift & a day-one partner for new employees.
  • Provide support to Organize and facilitate Digicel new employee Induction


University Relations

  • Provide support to plan and execute Digicel’s participation in career/job fairs hosted by our partner institutions
  • Provide support to coordinate and execute Digicel’s Summer Employment Programme



  • Responding to general HR queries from internal/external customers via telephone or email
  • Working alongside the HR Team on any special projects as assigned


Academic qualifications and experience required for job:


  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Human Resources or Social Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
