Summary/Primary Objective:
As the Group HR Business Partner you will implement, optimize and lead best in class policies, procedures, systems and practices in all aspects of the employee life-cycle to include: Internal Communications, Culture, Organizational Design, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent and Succession Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Employee Relations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Group HR Director and other key HR stakeholders, the Group HR Business Partner will build relationships across a broad range of stakeholders within Group functions, implementing strategic and operational initiatives in a timely and consistent manner, spanning the full range of HR activities.

  • Support alignment and delivery of HR plans to Group functions and drive the execution of key initiatives
  • Develops and implements HR strategies to increase the department's level of efficiency and effectiveness
  • Counsels managers and supervisors on the management of staff including performance improvements plans, discipline, and exits
  • Owns the Industrial Relations administration of all disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with the disciplinary code and sound ER practices
  • Guides HR and business colleagues in thedevelopment and implementation of effective programs relating to employment, employee relations, industrial relations, training & development, attraction/retention
  • Responsible for compliance with local employment laws
  • Responsible for employee reporting as directed
  • Continuously conduct and analyze competitive salary information and report on compensation practices in the external market to ensure we continue to attract and retain the best talent
  • Actively assist with the activities for the company’s annual salary review process
  • The administration of records management policies designed to facilitate effective and efficient handling of employees files and data
  • Support the annual budgeting process and collaborate with HR team to ensure the department achieves its Opex budgeted targets.
  • Collaborate with Group HRIS, IT Department and HR Team to provide support and have take the lead in activities relating to HRIS for Group
  • Responsible for producing key metrics and stats on a regular basis to report the impact on the business of the following:
    • Headcount and vacation liability report
    • Monthly update of the company’s organization structure
    • Key support in the manpower planning process and the development of headcount forecast to ensure alignment to the business objectives


Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Experience of working in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • B.Sc. in Management Studies, Human Resource Management or Social Sciences desirable
  • Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in Human Resource business partnering
  • Working knowledge of project management techniques
  • Post Graduate Qualification in HR or Management would be an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of employment practices and labour laws

  • Advance working knowledge of MC Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Sound working knowledge of a HR Information System
