Primary objective of the job:
The Head of Growth Product Management will define the growth direction of Digicel’s Digital channels by outlining strategies and providing direction to achieve KPIs in our product-related metrics: activation, transactions and retention.
The candidate will track and interpret the customer funnels and data of Digicel’s website, the MyDigicel and Digicel International apps, and top up website, to solve business problems that drive more value from our digital products and enable the company’s growth. The Head of Growth Product Management is responsible for setting the strategy that will exponentially increase the number of successful customer transactions and interactions through her/his focus on defining and driving customer-obsessed improvements.
The Head of Growth Product Management will manage a team of Growth Product Managers and will work closely with a cross-functional team of performance metrics planners, digital operations and agile developers to ensure strategies are implemented effectively, aligned with the business goals of the group and each Digicel market.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define our digital products growth goals and achieve our objectives for activation, monetisation (transaction) and retention across all our digital products
- Tracking, interpreting and reporting on metrics and funnel data that drive customer conversion, transactions and total basket value, and retention
- Analyse customer behaviour to set new product feature priorities and reshape the digital products growth roadmap for the subscription customer segment
- Be customer-obsessed and laser-focused on getting our customer to their intended digital transaction or interaction in one click
- Own the business requirement documents and define clear expectations for the digital operations and agile development teams
- Own the payment strategy and roadmap across prepaid and subscription customer segment by analysing each market’s needs and anticipating emerging payment methods that will drive adoption and conversion
- Collaborate cross-functionally with your peers in the Group Digital and Diaspora team, all Digicel markets and the leadership team to ensure alignment on the objectives and support the execution of the strategies
- Monitor and report on the performance based on the digital OKR’s and the tNPS KPI’s
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Experience with consumer products delivered through digital channels, ideally in the mobile telecommunications, software or fintech industry
- Experience leading a team of product or growth managers is an advantage
Functional Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to articulate a product plan in a clear, concise and measurable manner
- Excellent analytical skills, ideally experience with Google Analytics and how to measure UX and funnels
- Polished presentation skills
