IFRS 16 Accounting Manager

Being responsible for the IFRS 16 end to end process, the IFRS 16 Accounting Manager keeps the lease management system (LMS) updated and ensure monthly reporting is delivered in an accurate, complete and timely manner. 


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage data into LMS, resolving discrepancies / incomplete information with relevant stakeholders on a timely manner.
  • Prepare IFRS 16 monthly, quarterly and annual reporting ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in a timely manner.
  • Prepare analytical reviews to ensure quality of information reported
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as necessary.
  • Look for opportunities to streamline the process


Academic qualifications and experience required for job:


  • Bachelor's degree finance, ACCA or equivalent.
  • More than five (5) years PQE including experience as responsible / owner of a financial reporting related process in a medium / large organisation.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills with a relentless focus on achieving objectives in a timely manner.
  • Relevant experience applying accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with IFRS 16 is desirable but not restrictive as there will be specific training on this area.
