Investigations & Forensics Specialist

 

The primary objective of the job:

  • To carry out investigations into fraudulent or illegal activities that could present a reputational and corporate risk to Digicel and/or its subsidiaries/interests.
  • To ensure that internal controls are developed and maintained based on the risk profile of the company at any given time.
  • To develop an intelligence network that provides information on the potential risks and/or fraudulent activities committed against the company.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To prepare and present evidence files and Investigation Reports in advance of internal (HR) and external (law enforcement) meetings
  • Conduct formal interviews with staff members and DIGICEL agents suspected of fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Provide forensics support and analysis for investigations
  • Conduct Risk and Threat Analysis of DIGICEL processes and locations.
  • To develop and carry out secret shopper programs across DIGICEL dealers.
  • To work with law enforcement agencies to investigate internal and external fraud.

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • BSc Degree
  • Investigator Certification
  • 5 Years’ experience in conducting investigations
  • Law Enforcement experience is an asset

  • Practical experience in using the MS Office Suite
