Primary objective of the job: 


We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and organized individual to design, develop and manage all aspects of the training programs for training new and existing employees within the Finance, Legal and Procurement functions for all levels in 32 markets.

The ideal candidate should possess the necessary skills to assess training needs, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and is expected to prepare all the training materials, user guides, and videos.  The training coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that new employees receive onboarding training to prepare for their new role properly.


 Main Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Conduct training needs assessment and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Design and develop training programs and prepare any learning materials needed
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with subject matter experts regarding curriculum and instructional design
  • Map out future/annual  training plans for Finance, Legal, Procurement departments
  • Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, on-the-job training, classes)
  • Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Administer assessments to determine the impact of training on employee skills
  • Partner with government agencies and capitalize on cost-effective training initiatives
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
  • Research and recommend new training methods and techniques 


Academic qualifications and experience required: 


  • Three plus years experience of working as a Trainer٫ or other relevant position
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources or other related fields is preferred
  • Experience providing full-scope training materials, from analyzing company needs to lesson planning, development and implementation
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation


Functional Skills and Abilities: 


  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments
  • Experience in coordinating multiple corporate training events, with learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred
  • Proficient with  MS Office
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
