Primary Objective of the Job:

 

The Marketing Executive is responsible for protecting the company’s brand equity, and support efforts at ensuring the company’s positive image in marketing communications, including but not limited to advertising and branding.  Ensure that Retail and Customer Care operations are kept at a consistently high level and maintain an excellent level of relationship with creative agencies, Retail and other key stakeholders in the business.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking direction from and supporting the Marketing Manager in various projects related to PR/Media, Promotions, Branding, Outdoor Activations and Sponsorship.  
  • Ad hoc support for various Digicel departments.
  • Liaise with internal departments to decipher their communication or operational needs and timelines.
  • Prepare creative briefs, manage and liaise with external advertising agencies on select advertising campaigns and/or executions.
  • Draft, manage and get approval on communications to be distributed to select/all customers.
  • Prepare and manage communication plans for select advertising campaigns and/or commercial executions.
  • Administrative support, which involves, but is not limited to, following up on actions.
  • Assist with managing the sponsorship strategy and execution.
  • Outdoor branding and management.
  • Producing weekly or daily reports.

Qualifications and experience require for job:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar role  
  • Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset
  • Previous marketing experience, with demonstrated success is an asset.
  • Experience in project management will be an asset.
  • Understanding of Social Media marketing will be an asset
