The Business Development and Partner Service Department’s role is to engage and onboard new client partners while maintaining relationship with existing Clients and Partners, in order to ensure client satisfaction, identify additional service delivery opportunities and support revenue enhancement across the lines of businesses for Paymaster. The incumbent will perform the suite of activities ranging from Partner prospecting, partner onboarding to Partner performance reviews and recommendation/remediation for Partner concerns. The purpose of this position is to ensure a continuous pipeline of revenue generating opportunities and to ensure that Paymaster maximizes the revenue and volume opportunities from partners. The Partnership Specialist will have ownership of prospecting, proposal writing, partner KYC documentation, relationship engagement & management, and coordinate the onboarding of potential partners. The position will report directly to the Head of Business Development & Partner Services who will provide directions, targets, objectives and support to the achievement of the Unit’s KPIs.



Primary Responsibilities



  • Identify and prospect potential partners that are aligned with the company’s focus/ priorities
  • Prepare Proposals for submission to partners being engaged and navigate negotiations with and onboarding submissions from them to achieve an agreed commercial proposal
  • Maintain relationships with onboarded partners, ensuring their satisfaction with Paymaster’s service delivery and acting as an internal advocate on behalf of partners and Clients for service enhancements
  • Resolve , refer, and / or escalate Partners’ concerns received.
  • Perform data analysis to monitor and measure partner output/ performance
  • Identify ‘red flag’ situations / performance gaps and address them by proposing and implementing appropriate initiatives
  • Work effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills to ensure partner retention and their alignment with strategic initiatives and objectives of Paymaster
  • Any other related work assigned by the HoD / Head of Financial Services



Qualifications, Requirements & Experience



  • Minimum 1st Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (graduate degree or other professional certification will be a distinct asset)
  • At least four (4) years experience working in a similar industry (Fintech, Financial Services, payment facilitation)
  • Above average computer skills (must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint & Microsoft Word);
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain productive partner relationships
  • Project Management experience is an asset
  • Holder of a Drivers’ Licence; with active driving history for at least 2 years
  • Registered Owner/ co-owner of a motor vehicle; with ability and availability to travel island-wide (to meet with potential and existing partners)
