Primary Objective of the Job:

  • The position of Technical Pre-sales Consultant has been created to work with the Business Solutions Team to grow the business through our customers and meet revenue targets.
  • The position requires the role holder to understand our customers’ business needs and processes and to design solutions capable of resolving these needs within the constraints of quality, cost and time.
  • The role holder will be seen as the technical authority, and knowledgeable on the suite of product offerings from Digicel Business Solutions.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the full portfolio of products and services provided by Business Solutions.
  • Meet with customers and potential customers to gather information, understand business processes and develop an initial understanding of the solution requirement.
  • Produce and document solution designs and network topology diagrams to support the technical solution being proposed.
  • Able to demonstrate the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission & rapport & influencing
  • Create professional service proposals for implementation and consulting.Liaise closely with
  • Product Management, Account managers, Business Development managers, Project managers and Implementation managers.
  • Act as a technical design authority resource to both internal and external clients.
  • Carry out proof of concept trials and technology demonstrations for partners & enterprise level customers.
  • Delivering products sales, presales & hands-on technical trainings.

 

 

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Degree in an IT or Engineering discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, voice and networking solutions
  • At least 2 years professional experience in a similar role

  • Cisco or associated technology vendor certifications highly desirable
  • Azure or associated Cloud technology vendor certification highly desirable
