Job Profile: Retail Sales Team Lead

 

Primary Objective:

  • Ensure that Digicel+ products and services are promoted in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Supervision of direct reports  ( Digicel+ Retail Sales Agents)

 

 

Main Duties and Responsible:

General

  • Schedule and execute engaging promotional activities and providing incentive plans to excite the Sales Team.
  • Escalate issues requiring intervention to the relevant Management Team and/or Department.
  • Monitor and report on competitive products and services in market.

 

 

Digicel+

  • Communicate Monthly targets and track performance versus targets
  • Manage the agents’ performance in the store to ensure it adheres to Digicel guidelines and policies
  • Implement strategies and incentive plans to increase sales numbers.
  • Manage schedule assignment and absences to ensure full coverage during operation hours
  • Responsible for team’s payment submissions – Compile data and submit for payments to be processed. Report submission – Complete reports daily /weekly and monthly. Reports includes sales numbers, MTD vs actuals, feedback of customers interacted with daily, MoM and YoY comparisons.
  • Update Team of delays, system outages, new areas to be released, promotions, and price and/or product changes. 
  • Keep communications open and active with members on the team
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings and visits to the stores
  • Conduct one on one Sessions with agents - provide updates, identify areas for development, acquire feedback on challenges, and give recommendations.
  • Training/Refresher on products and services.
  • Communicate promotion and offers in market, ensuring agents are equipped to properly engage customers on the offerings
  • Monitoring of localized activities by getting feedback to ensure the brand is properly represented and that execution is according to Digicel’s policies and guidelines

Reporting

  • Ensure that required Reports are submitted by team members
  • Prepare, Collate and submit reports needed for Decision Making as requested

 

 Academic qualifications and experience required

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service environment
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • Previous sales experience, with demonstrated success is an asset.
