JOB TITLE: Roaming Tester

 

DEPARTMENT: International Business

REPORTS TO (TITLE): Roaming Operations Manager                                                

 

Primary objective of the job:

 

The main purpose of the position is to provide effective and efficient IREG and TADIG test completion for Digicel’s Roaming services. Liaise with and on behalf of all CALA markets completing their specified test requirements to implement expansions within and outside of the Digicel network.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. IREG Testing and Administration

 

  1. Integrate roaming services for new Digicel Networks as required
  2. Perform IR24, IR32, IR35 and IR38 etc. roaming tests with assigned operators
  3. Provide technical support and coordination for Digicel territories to ensure the resolution of all roaming issues
  4. Maintain personal test records; test status
  5. Update inventory of SIM cards received from SIM Coordinator
  6. Update inventory of test phones received
  7. Update Office data changes as per procedure
  8. Liaise with Group Technical Roaming Team to complete service opening

 

  1. TADIG Testing and Administration
    1. Perform TADIG validation on all roaming tests
    2. Coordinate with Roaming Billing to sign off on all validations

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

 

  • Associate degree/diploma in a Technical discipline

 

The following would be a plus:

  • Knowledge of Mobile technologies and call flows
  • Experience in user acceptance testing
  • Initiative to improve pro-actively the processes and procedures continuously

  • Ability to work in a team and on Projects
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good analytical skills
