Primary objective of the job:
The Talent Manager will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that equip our employees with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities across the organization
• Design and develop engaging training programs, using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., instructor-led training, eLearning, blended learning)
• Deliver training programs to employees at all levels of the organization
• Facilitate workshops and learning sessions
• Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and handouts
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and collect feedback from participants
• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content
• Manage Learning Management System (LMS) and keep training materials organized and accessible
• Support compliance training initiatives
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall L&D strategy
• Partner with business leaders and HR to identify and develop high-potential talent
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for participants, aligned with market needs and the 70:20:10 learning model (experience, exposure, education)
• Coordinate and oversee the Internship Programmes and other talent development initiatives
• Manage training budget
• Ensure compliance with all local legislative requirements
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract top talent for our programs
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in talent development and share insights with the team
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources Development, or a related field
• Experience of working with a Lead Brand Mobile Operator or leading online service provider
• Base knowledge of talent development methodologies
Functional Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development or instructional design
• Experience with developing and delivering training programs for a variety of audiences
• Strong instructional design skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. (Develops open, effective communication practices across the organization to improve individual and business achievement and performance. Seeks input from key stakeholders)
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Proficient in adult learning principles
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent project management skills
• Passion for learning and development
• Conceptualizes and articulates meaningful outcomes and deliverables. Knows when to communicate project issues and progress
• Incorporates research into planning decisions
• Measurement and Evaluation - Knowledge of measurement and evaluation methodology and
ability to design systems to measure the impact of tools, processes, and programmes on people and business performance
