Primary objective of the job: 
The Technical Product Lead will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of features for the key digital properties (websites and apps) that enable customers to manage their accounts, monitor usage, pay bills, and access support seamlessly.

In this role, they will translate product strategy into executable delivery plans, ensuring that digital initiatives are delivered efficiently, to a high technical standard and in alignment with overall business goals. He/she will work across product, engineering and operations teams to ensure delivery excellence, technical robustness, and customer value at every stage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate the digital and business requirements into well-defined and accurate user stories, acceptance criteria and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with product growth teams to define success metrics of strategic initiatives
  • Define and own delivery timelines, KPIs, and measurable success outcomes that align with commercial and customer-experience goals
  • Leverage data and user insights to identify trends and diagnose performance issues
  • Feed learnings into strategic planning with product growth teams ensuring future roadmap priorities are data-informed and aligned with growth opportunities
  • Partner with architecture and development teams to balance long-term scalability and innovation with the need for reliable, incremental delivery
  • Act as the key interface between product strategy and technical execution — ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment across all teams
  • Track and report delivery progress, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders
  • Attend scrum ceremonies with development and QA teams to understand progress and assist with removing blockers
  • Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing efforts with market participants and report on progress to stakeholders

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years experience in technical product or delivery management, ideally in telecoms, digital services, or mobile applications
  • Proven track record of managing delivery programs in an agile environment
  • Experience using delivery management tools (Azure DevOps would be an asset)
  • Experience in telecommunications, digital transformation, or customer self-service platforms

 

Functional Skills:

  • Understanding of mobile app ecosystems, backend integrations (billing, identity, CRM), and digital customer journeys
  • Understanding of product and analytics tools (Firebase, Google Analytics)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to navigate complex technical and business environments
