Key Purpose of the Role:


  • Provide project management function for large scale projects
  • Manage cross functional teams and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Engage with internal teams for developing project dashboards.
  • Engage with external stake holders to identify and develop project plans for deliveries
  • Work with project teams for resource allocation for projects


Principal Responsibilities:


  • Having 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in tech organizations
  • Expertise in setting up governance structure.
  • Supplement the product go-to-market plans ensuring a timely delivery of projects in collaboration with other departments
  • Manage diverse set of stake holders and lead cross functional teams responsible for end-to-end product deliveries
  • Engage with tech teams in identifying activities and subtasks and ensuring that the projects are delivered on time.
  • Engage in collecting items for project forums and keeping a track of product back logs
  • Work with project teams to manage end to end project delivery and develop project baseline reports
  • Closely follow up with project teams for project baselines and raise alarms whenever the project is getting delayed or overshooting costs
  • Ensure optimal use of resources, prepare and present resource usage reports
  • Understand the overall strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm


Principal Working Relationships:     



External - All customers through provision of customer facing products & Systems

Internal - All business units, deliver products to achieve the business plan.


Internal – All business units

External - Software Development, Database/Warehousing QA outsourced partners.


Person Specification:




  • Degree Level Education in Science, Engineering, IT, Project Management or similar technical field.
  • Role will have to deal with potential ambiguity, changes, and managing sometimes conflicting inputs. Therefore, assuming problem solving leadership and cutting through ambiguity is a must, as well as strong people and communication


Background Experience:

Ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication and people interaction skills
  • Strong experience on Agile Development & DevOps practices
  • Good experience with Testing Automation
  • Experience in setting up Project management units at large scale financial services organizations
  • Strong concepts related to Project and Program Management.
  • Financial system Knowledge
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
