  Test Manager - Shared Services Centre

 

Primary objective of the job: 

This role supports readiness for Powered go-live by managing test activities  for both technical and Shared Services Centre.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Planning & Design phase

 

  • Works with functional teams to localize existing test strategy / plans / scenarios / scripts for a given set of deployment markets
  • Communicates to the wider project team requirements as regards testing
  • Identifies parties required to be involved in testing and works to engage them in the testing phases
  • Supports any activities relating to testing tools setup, configuration and training
  • Ensures availability of resource for execution testing including specifically user acceptance testing

 

Build phase

 

  • Works with functional teams to update test cases for end-to-end testing
  • Refines criteria for test acceptance (based on any local requirements)
  • Provides input to go / no-go checklists with respect to solution testing
  • Co-ordinates preparation and execution of testing to plan
  • Ensure test preparation complete

 

Testing phase

 

  • Leads UK participation in all test phases (unit / integration / E2E / UAT etc.)
  • Working with data team ensures business testing includes relevant “real” market data
  • With the core test team monitors and captures test issues (defects) and helps drive resolution
  • Monitor testing progress providing regular update to project teams
  • Review test deliverables against quality measures and acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate internal quality review of testing deliverables (quality gates)
  • Quality assurance on completed testing
  • Ensures functional and business teams engage and participate as required in UAT scenario execution and leads formal approval of UAT activities
  • As required manages local 3rd party involvement in test phases (e.g. banking partners)
  • Ensures availability of local test environments
  • As required manages regression test activities (preparation and execution)
  • Ensures effective engagement of process teams and business staff

 

Deployment phase

 

  • Supports the resolution of issues identified through deployment
  • Supports Solution Deployment team in go-live readiness preparation

 

Support phase

 

  • Supports Post go-live Support team with post go-live review activities

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

 

  • Workday Finance experience
  • Experience of Caribbean / Pacific markets
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or any related field
