Job Title: Training Specialist

 

 

 

Primary Objective of the Job

  • Provide leadership in developing, executing, and improving training needs of the internal and external team.
  • To support the overall training on systems and processes to ensure learner compliance with all training practices as mandated by the Consumer Operations Team.

 

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and on-going training of sales channel, evaluate, record individual and team performance and make appropriate developmental recommendations.
  • Monitor training performance on LMS Tool.
  • Monitor stores delivery of superior levels of Service to Customers through ongoing training targeted through audit results.
  • Oversee training roll out and implementation for new products, processes, system, and tools for the Consumer Channel
  • Source and design training content through computer aided designing (Microsoft PowerPoint presentation) for approval to improve customer service levels, product knowledge and attitude of Consumer Sales Channels.
  • Presentation & knowledge transfer (one-to-one and group) skills.
  • Prepare all training communication and send course announcements.
  • Ability to carry out TNA (Training Needs Analysis).
  • To keep up to date records (Basic Accounts Statement) for the Training Unit budget.
  • To follow up and give advisor (s) support on answers to questions given during or after training.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, at various stages.
  • Self-motivated, can use initiative and work independently.

 

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, and business management.
  • Experience in Training is a plus.
  • At least 2+years’ experience as a trainer or a similar support role.
  • Extensive experience in designing and delivering training in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and e-Learning platforms
