Primary objective of the job:

 

Brings a commercial awareness of business operations to understand sensitivities and challenges occurring within the markets. Works with process area teams to understand how inventories, payables and other aspects of working capital will impact measures.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

In order of priority, the major activities, or functions necessary to achieve the job’s end results

  • Effective production and monitoring of the cash flow tracker for the Shared Service Centre
  • To effectively prepare auditable schedule and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts to General Ledger for all the markets
  • Effective and continuous monitoring of  the accounts payable  and accounts receivable sub-ledger, ensuring they are aligned to the general ledger
  • To create and post all standards and ad-hoc accounting journals for all markets in accordance with the journal policy and procedures
  • Supporting the period end close processes
  • Provide external audit support
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of revenue and cost accounting
  • Recording and Reporting accounting transactions in accordance with IFRS
  • To follow up with accounting policy & regulations
  • Assist with intercompany where required
  • Other assigned duties

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Professional accounting Qualifications Minimum Level 2-ACCA or CPA
  • Three- Four (3-4) years relevant working experience
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of record to report practices
  • Demonstrate sound ethical standards
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, such as Excel and
  • Good writing, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate sound ethical standards
