Job purpose: |
|
Drive force behind the deployment and maintenance of Digicel`s critical infrastructure. By ensuring that Digicel`s network and technology assets are not only operational but optimized for peak performance in the field. |
|
Key Objectives: |
|
Lead the charge in deploying network infrastructure and technology assets in the field, ensuring timely and accurate installations. Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize network equipment and technology assets to ensure uninterrupted operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand network coverage and capacity, meeting the evolving needs of our customers. Uphold quality standards in field operations to deliver reliable and high-performance network services. Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of field activities and equipment installations. |

Qualifications, knowledge & experience: |
|
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required. Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations, ideally within the telecommunications industry. Exhibit technical expertise in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and technology assets. Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and practices in field operations. Understand fundamental networking concepts and equipment. |
