Primary objective of the job:
-
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through walk-ins, networking, and referrals.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Consistently deliver sales targets and KPIs as assigned by the Head of Business Sales and/or the business.
- Customer Engagement: Present and promote new products, services, and promotional offers to prospective and existing customers.
- Retention & Upselling: Identify upsell opportunities, and maximize account value within new and existing account base
- CRM Management: Accurately log sales activities such as customer visits (doors knocked), cold calls, leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities in Salesforce and/or any other CRM tool.
- Collaboration: Liaise with supporting teams to ensure timely provisioning, account setup, and delivery of services.
- Market Feedback: Capture and report insights on competitor activities, customer trends, and product performance to inform sales strategy.
Reporting
- Update Salesforce.com with activities including: logging of meetings, opportunities and follow all established processe
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely provisioning, maintenance and updates of all customer accounts
- Action outstanding service requests for all DIGICEL customers that are submitted on POS/Remote Authorization via the Channel Partners
- Contact customers to discuss/clarify request for services and manage email and fax requests by processing.
- Answer and provide support to the Toll Free/Symposium telephone line for dealers and Dispatch Team as per agreed SLA
- Liaise with Sales Representatives and Account Managers, to validate, assess and analyze service requests and where necessary make amendments to service requests.
- Acknowledge receipt of orders by way of return call or email to customer/Account Manager.
- Perform any other job related duties that may be required
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Five (5) CXC or GCE Subjects (inclusive of English and Mathematics or an equivalent numeric qualification).
- At least six (6) months working experience in a Customer Service Environment or telecoms
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications; Word, PowerPoint, Office Outlook, and Excel

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good customer service skills
- Good analytical skills
