Responsible for IT helpdesk Support & Manage IT Infrastructure Services deployed for 6 pacific countries.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and end user support for; Windows Servers DNS, DHCP ,Group Policy, Terminal Servers, Azure, O365, Microsoft Exchange, Office, SharePoint, SCCM, VMware V-Sphere and other hypervisor.
  • Manage Engine, Asset Management, PABX, CCTV, Biometric, Wi-Fi & Monitoring System like Solar Wind as well as Storage & Backup Operation
  • Office & Data center security management.
  • Configuration and maintenance of IT security for the Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Environments in accordance with the wider IT Security policies for Digicel Pacific Group.
  • Monitoring and regular reporting on overall support status for all of the above environments mentioned above, including: availability, backups, performance, trending of issues logged by users, Accounts privileges (Admin and users).
  • Development, maintenance and ownership of policies and procedures pertaining to best practice administration and operations of the Windows Active Directory Network Environment in Digicel Pacific Group. This includes definitions and policies that are specific to the core software applications and business specific software applications that are required to be installed and operated on all computers that connect to the Digicel Pacific Group Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment.
  • Ownership of policies and procedures pertaining to best practice administration and operations of the Microsoft Exchange/O365 Environment.
  • Assisting with the implementation and integration of other IT and Business projects from time to time as defined by the IT Manager Digicel Pacific.
  • IT Security Improvement: Ensure all system have Endpoint Protection installed and up to date with latest signatures. Symantec, Bit locker and other security tools operational at all times.


Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role

  • First Degree, 3-year Diploma or professional qualification in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in Windows Server and client Installation/Administration (Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP), File and Print Server Management, VMware ESXi Management and configurations.
  • Backup systems both physical and virtual.
  • MS Exchange Server and client Installation and Administration
  • SQL Server set-up and basic Database Administration
  • LAN /WAN and Wireless Installation, configuration and Maintenance
  • Considerable experience in PC Support area (BIOS, pc configuration, drivers, windows and office, and network connectivity)
