Primary objective
To manage the sales executives and ensure the customer has a world class experience, while ensuring that Digicel policies, procedures (including reporting) and standards are appropriately adhered to.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Check the store each morning after it has been cleaned to ensure it is up to group standard and is maintained as this standard throughout the day (both inside and out)
- Ensure the store is up to date with the latest portfolio, promos and posters, which comply with Digicel guidelines at all times
- Prepare staff schedules to ensure the shop is always properly manned
- Supervise and train the sales executives as necessary, ensuring they carry out their role effectively and efficiently
- Review sales executives sales at end of day and reconcile cash with sales report and bill payments posted in E-care, reporting any cash/posting differences daily to retail manager and finance dept in writing (email)
- Control the stock. Carrying out daily stock take and reporting any stock differences immediately to retail manager and finance dept in writing (email)
- Request any required adjustments to customers’ account, ensuring to follow up daily with other departments on any requests, queries or complaints
- Complete sales, stock and other type of requested report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned from time to time
Academic Qualifications and Experience required for position
- Typically 5+ years sales experience
- 2+ years supervisory/management experience
- HAVO (Dutch senior high school) or equivalent degree (C&C – Level 1 or GCE – A Levels)
- Language Papiamento, Dutch and English a necessity (Spanish an advantage)
- Advantage: Telecoms or Computer Science certification
