Job Purpose:

The Human Resources Management Information Specialist is responsible for safeguarding data accuracy while spearheading the development of comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analyses crucial for gaining insights into HR performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs). This role will also involve configuring, testing, and updating the system while assisting with the coordination of various HR projects. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex systems for continuous HR enhancement. Additionally, the role involves advising on and documenting the KPIs essential for optimizing HR functions across the business. We are seeking an individual with a strong enthusiasm for utilizing technology to harness data, someone who is passionate about data management and actively explores ways to integrate this data into decision-making processes. 

 

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure Data Accuracy: Serve as the primary guardian of HR data integrity, implementing robust measures to validate and maintain accurate information.
  • Develop Analytical Tools: Lead the creation and enhancement of sophisticated reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to facilitate informed decision-making in HR.
  • Optimize KPI Utilization: Advise on and document key performance indicators (KPIs) pertinent to HR, aligning them with business objectives to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance Reporting Efficiency: Streamline and automate reporting processes, increasing efficiency and responsiveness in delivering timely HR insights to stakeholders.
  • Foster Insightful Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of HR performance metrics, providing actionable insights to support continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • HR Platform Optimization: Efficiently configure, test, update, and maintain the HR platform to ensure optimal functionality and usability.
  • Systems Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of HR processes and systems to enhance the overall infrastructure and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Detail-Oriented Support: Provide ongoing support for HR platform users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise, while paying keen attention to detail.

 

Main accountabilities:

  • Ensure Data Integrity: Safeguard the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of HR data through robust governance and compliance measures.
  • Drive Reporting Excellence: Lead the development and enhancement of HR reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to propose solutions for improvement.
  • KPI Expertise: Provide guidance on relevant KPIs for HR, collaborating on documentation and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • System Optimization: Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate and optimize HR systems, ensuring seamless data flow and maximizing reporting tool functionality.
  • Actively contribute to the enhancement of overall HR infrastructure, suggesting and implementing optimizations.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of HR processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate HR insights to key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.

 

 

Qualifications, knowledge & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree or HRIS certification is a plus.
  • Strong skills in HR information systems (HRIS), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and proficiency in data manipulation using programming languages like SQL.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data sets, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes, practices, and key performance indicators. Ability to align HR metrics with organizational objectives.
  • 5+ years in HR analytics, MIS, or related roles, with a track record of developing and managing HR reports, dashboards, and analytics. Familiarity with HR software implementation and system integration is essential.
