Primary Objectives of the Job

 

To manage all commercial and marketing activity within assigned cluster area, to ensure that Moncash targets for encountered our clients and agents needs are met and Digicel's products and services are marketed in an effective and efficient manner.

Focus:

  • Cluster area Dealer Channel Management.
  • Performance manage & maximize channel reach in cluster area (identify new routes to market).
  • Local kiosk channel management.
  • Track Cluster Performance, identify and flag issues in local market.
  • Develop the regional territory (increase the number of authorized agents, etc) in order to facilitate and increase the number of transactions
  • Monitor competitors’ activities.
  • Local community integration in conjunction with Agent Channel Manager
  • Local Research, Brand, PR, events and business community infiltration.
  • Improve Moncash local visibility and appeal, by getting closer to customer.
  • Execute all actions derived from weekly/monthly meetings held with Manager
  • Execute local sponsorship and events and ensure a return on investment
  • Organize training sessions for authorized agents
  • Responsible for monitoring and making proposals to combat fraud in the field
  • Work with Acquisition Coordinator and Regional Team Leaders to monitor the ESRs and find strategies to reach the areas furthest away
  • Maintain weekly or punctual reporting required by the Moncash service

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Developing MonCash services in the departments:
  • Market Days
  • Undermining “Special Competitor Activities”
  1. Identify all Branding opportunities and flag to Agent Channel Manager
  • Wall-branding
  • Billboards
  • Potential Partners
  • Grassroots and Sponsorship events
  • Community Projects
  1. Manage all Commercial aspects of the Department by
  • Training is delivered in a timely manner
  • Proper branding is in place.
  • Agents have materials to operate.
  • Ensuring that POS/Agents are functioning on a daily basis
  • Ensuring there is sufficient Service availability in each cluster.
  • Constantly monitoring and flagging Competitive activities/pricing to Agent Channel Manager
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with the Master Distributor for their clusters and continuously driving improvements in their service
  • Attending weekly meetings with the Agent Channel Manager while maintaining and executing action lists
  • Immediately flagging all network issues to Agent Channel Manager

 

  1. Building Relationships               
  • Ensure Digicel has good working relationships with all authorities and their representatives across their clusters
  • Keep in touch with potential new partners on the field

Academic Qualifications & Experience required

 

  • Strong experience & proven track record of achievements in field.
    • A proven record of delivering customer focused strategic plans with clear revenue goals.
    • Three-five years sales or marketing experience with a leading Brand from either mobile telecommunications or multinationals industries desired.
  • Strong people management, customer servicing and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable, effective team player.
