Job Title: Regional Coordinator
Reports to: Grants & Staff Engagement Manager
Duration: 12 months
Location: Artibonite - North West - West
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
To support the Foundation in coordinating and implementing activities within the Grants and Staff Engagement Department.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsibilities Related to the New “Konbit Pou Chanjman” Campaign
- Support the implementation of the “Konbit Pou Chanjman” campaign launch.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating community awareness meetings to promote the campaign.
- Conduct audits of Digicel Stores to ensure proper visibility and promotion of the campaign across the regions.
- Collect and submit grant applications and legal documents received in the regions to the Foundation's headquarters.
- Assist in coordinating Phase II activities, including communicating with applicant organizations and organizing field visits.
- Coordinate Phase III activities, including organizing training sessions for selected organizations.
- Support the preparation of the final event and coordinate post-event follow-up activities.
2. Grant Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct regular field monitoring visits to beneficiary organizations in accordance with the approved work plan and program requirements.
- Monitor funded projects through the review of narrative and financial reports, as well as field observations.
- Track project implementation and identify any issues or risks related to budgets, timelines, deliverables, or expected impact.
- Support beneficiary organizations in preparing and submitting reports while strengthening their capacity in project management, budget monitoring, and implementation of best practices.
- Regularly communicate findings, observations, challenges, and recommendations to management to support effective monitoring, decision-making, and continuous program improvement.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and organized documentation, including reports, photographs, videos, and other monitoring records.
3. Staff Engagement Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate regional staff engagement activities.
- Accompany employees during Foundation missions and activities, encouraging their active participation in Foundation initiatives.
- Support school visits and data collection activities.
- Participate in the organization and inauguration of schools within the assigned regions.
4. Marketing and Public Relations Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate regional media tours and events to ensure effective promotion and visibility of the Foundation's initiatives.
- Actively participate in communication campaigns and promotional activities.
- Represent the Foundation at public events, interviews, meetings, and video productions, as required.
5. Other Responsibilities
Carry out any other duties consistent with the nature and level of the role, as assigned by management.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience in management, sales, marketing, community development, or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written Creole, French, and English.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Strong persuasive and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- High level of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, planning, time management, and document management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in rural and remote communities.
- Valid motorcycle riding skills, with the ability and willingness to ride regularly as part of the role.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within assigned regions in support of the Foundation's activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
