Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist (Latin America and Caribbean Region) - Digicel Business 

 

 

Primary objective of the job:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Cyber Security Sales Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of securing the digital landscape in the Latin America and Caribbean region. In this critical role, you will leverage your deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions to effectively engage with target audiences, identify business needs, and help to build compelling sales strategies. You will be responsible for accepting and exceeding sales targets by driving new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including attending industry events, networking with key decision-makers, and cold calling.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Assist in development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closure.
  • Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of the company's cybersecurity solutions by translating technical features into tangible business benefits for potential clients.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on competitors' offerings, feedback to the products team and effectively position your solutions against them.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling and persuasive proposals that highlight the unique value proposition and ROI of your solutions using data from the solutions teams.
  • Negotiation and Contract Closing: Confidently negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure deals that achieve both company and client objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer response and keeping the client informed the entire way through the process, understanding their evolving needs, and proactively suggesting relevant solutions.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Accurately track progress towards sales targets, maintain pipeline beyond close rate levels, and help develop reliable forecasts to support team and company goals.
  • Stay Informed: Continuously stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the cybersecurity landscape to enhance your sales pitch and offer the most relevant solutions.

 

 

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, ideally with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. Knowledge of common security solutions and technologies is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to identify customer needs, develop compelling sales presentations, and effectively negotiate contracts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident and engaging presentation skills to effectively deliver product demonstrations and proposals.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Organization and Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required for meetings and client visits (frequency subject to company policy).
