Job Title
Digicel+ Sales Manager
Primary objective of the job:
The Digicel+ Sales Manager is charged with overseeing and managing consumer (Digicel+) sales to drive revenue growth across the Digcel+ Sales Teams while safeguarding excellent customer experience and minimizing shrinkage/churn. This role involves leading the D+ Sales teams and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Key outcomes include:
- Sales Productivity & Revenue Growth – Meet or exceed sales, ARPU and churn targets for Digicel+ Sales Teams.
- Reporting – Prepare local and regional reports on key metrics (including sales and installs) to support executive decision-making
- Reconciliation – Daily reconciliation of sales and inventory in accordance with Group standards
- Churn management – Meet or exceed voluntary and involuntary churn targets
Team Leadership & Development
- Liaise with the HR representative to manage the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of the Digicel+ Sales Teams.
- Motivate, coach, and manage the Consumer Sales, Retention, and FOTS teams to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to support professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish development plans to strengthen sales capabilities.
- Ensure sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and information to achieve optimal performance.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue for Mobile, Internet, and TV services.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and accountability structures aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with market needs and product offerings.
- Participate in all local and regional business reviews, presenting results, insights, and strategies to achieve targets.
Sales Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports for local and regional stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights on sales performance, churn (voluntary/involuntary), installs, NPDs, and other key metrics.
- Analyze sales data to identify performance gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate sales records, revenue forecasts, and progress tracking against quarterly and annual goals.
- Complete monthly Soft and Hard Disconnections in alignment with the Digicel+ Disconnection Framework.
Revenue & Market Growth
- Drive sales targets for Internet, TV, and Mobile services, contributing to overall revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base and deepen market penetration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Customer Care, Technical, and Service Delivery teams to ensure cohesive customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Support the Sales Teams in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quick issue resolution and quality service delivery.
- Maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen long-term business outcomes.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Continuously review and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure strict compliance with operational controls and procedures, including cash and inventory management.
- Implement corrective actions to address any compliance gaps, operational inefficiencies, or quality issues.
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management
- Identify process gaps and recommend automation, policy updates, or workflow enhancements to improve sales efficiency.
- Proactively manage risks related to shrinkage, non-compliance, inventory handling, and reconciliation.
- Uphold all safety, legal, and compliance standards within sales operations.
Inventory Management & Reconciliation
- Ensure full compliance with Digicel TCI and Digicel Group Audit Standards.
- Perform daily reconciliation of sales across all channels (FOTS and Independent Contractors).
- Conduct daily and monthly EOM inventory checks and reconciliations for all Digicel+ sales teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory control to reduce loss, shrinkage, or discrepancies.
Broadhub & System Monitoring
- Ensure daily closing of batches across all relevant platforms.
- Report daily voluntary and involuntary churn.
- Escalate discrepancies related to customer records, billing cycles, and activations.
- Perform Broadhub entries, updates, and adjustments with Back Office and Customer Care.
- Ensure accuracy of all sales and service delivery data and support required reporting audits.
- Close batches for Direct Sales Teams, third-party payment centers (CAM, NCS), and Digicel Corporate daily.
- Execute soft/hard disconnections and apply late fees to consumer and business accounts.
- Process monthly commissions and payroll for FOTS teams and Independent Contractors.
Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support Digicel’s strategic objectives.

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in telecom sales leadership or management.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, developing teams, and achieving KPIs.
- Additional certifications in sales, leadership, or management are an asset.
Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with focus on operational execution.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, POS systems, and relevant telecom applications.
